Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Kaja, a free account-based web service operated by Andras Serfozo as an individual project.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Kaja, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Kaja provides authentication, admin, and user-management features. The service is currently offered for free.

Kaja may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. If a change materially affects users, reasonable notice will be provided where practical.

Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • keeping your login credentials secure;
  • all activity under your account;
  • notifying Kaja if you suspect unauthorized access.

Kaja may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the service.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Kaja to:

  • break the law or violate anyone’s rights;
  • send spam, phishing, malware, or abusive content;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • probe, scan, or attack the service except through responsible security research;
  • overload, disrupt, or degrade the service;
  • reverse engineer or bypass security controls except where legally allowed;
  • use the service for high-risk, illegal, or harmful activity.

User Content And Data

You keep ownership of data you submit to Kaja.

You grant Kaja the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit, and display that data only to provide and secure the service.

Do not submit data you do not have the right to use.

Privacy

Kaja’s handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Security Research

Good-faith security reports are welcome. Do not access, modify, delete, or disclose other users’ data. Do not perform destructive testing or denial-of-service testing.

Intellectual Property

Kaja, including its software, design, documentation, names, and branding, is owned by its respective owners and contributors.

Open-source parts of Kaja remain governed by their applicable open-source licenses.

These Terms do not give you ownership of Kaja’s software, branding, or documentation.

Third-Party Services

Kaja may rely on third-party providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, or similar infrastructure. Their terms and policies may also apply to their services.

Availability

Kaja is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. There is no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaja disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaja and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Kaja’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to GBP 0.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Kaja at any time.

Kaja may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or abuse the service. Where practical, notice will be provided.

Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Courts located in England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated.
